In case you missed it, last night we kicked off Shop Live, with holiday gift ideas from Brett Bara, host of PBS' Knit and Crochet Today and Editor in Chief of Crochet Today. Besides all the cool crocheted picks, she showed us samples straight from the magazine and gave us a glimpse into the creative collaboration involved in putting the magazine and TV show together, including what she looks for in submissions and her take on the trends. How cute is that Amigurumi Bunny from curls of sunshine? I am not a knitter nor can I crochet but my daughter is amazing at it. I admire the craft greatly! I popped in for a bit last night just to see the format etc. but didn't stay too long. At first I found it to be overwhelmingly confusing because the comments weren't in list form..they were in 'bubble'..until I figured out how to switch it I nearly lost my mind..moves very quickly but really a great concept..I will check out another one for sure!
