Guess what caught my eye and whipped me into a nostalgic frenzy...Hula Hoops! There's no better way to get a kid out of the house and burning off some energy.

Lately the hula hoop craze of the 50s has been rekindled by the Burlesque/Burning Man/Circus Fashion set.  These hoops aint just for kids, witness the amazing Gumby hula hooper [photo by Lush.i.ous on flickr].


What are your favorite summertime games?  For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, what outdoor activity are you longing for?

Love my hoop have barely put it down since I got it from circlecandy here on etsy. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Throw on some Rusted Root and hoop it up. I can make it through four or five songs now!!
