Some legal Hoo Hah (that is very important and every seller should be doing - or you're breaking the law!)

I started a thread over on Folksy that has gained quite the momentum. It's main purpose was to discuss terms & conditions and the legalities of selling online.
One of the things that has been brought up (and caused much to do) is the fact that EVERY business in the UK that sells online HAS to have their address on their website so it is easy to find and for places like Etsy & Folksy have it in their profile. Before you all ask, it doesn't count if you put a postal slip in or such like. As far as the OFT rules are concerned it has to be visible BEFORE a buyer purchases.
Now many people obviously don't like this idea. But we all checked. There is no wriggle room. There is no option. If you don't do it then obviously that is up to you but as far as a court is concerned you would be trading illegally.
You can be fined UP TO £20,000.00 for this. Which is HUGE!
Also HMRC have Etsy on their radar for online traders for their campaign so if people are going to get caught it will be througout this year while they are cracking down on illegal sellers.
If you message me I will link you to the thread.
Hopefully this helps some of you guys! Hope it doesn't upset too many folks!
