Who can join?

EtsyMalaysia is a moderated team with the following requirements:

Etsy Malaysia is open to all Malaysian sellers on Etsy who are now residing in Malaysia or overseas. Non-Malaysians who are permanently residing in Malaysia are also welcome!

:: You need to have a SELLER ACCOUNT with at least 5 items listed for sale on Etsy to become a member. Check here for instructions on how to upgrade your regular Etsy account to a SELLER account: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/125

:: At the moment, participation in the Team's Yahoo! group and Flickr group is mandatory.

:: Please state which state you are from, and your email account for Yahoo! group and Flickr group during application. Application will not be entertained if no answer is given.

:: As Team EtsyMalaysia is run by a group of volunteers - meaning we all have day jobs and all, all new applications will typically be processed once every fortnight.

About this team

We hope to gather all Malaysian Etsians with common interest in crafting, and to encourage local handmakers to buy from other local handmakers. We hope to bring in the beauty of handmade products locally and internationally. We also aim to share craft related information locally and internationally within members. Members share information on marketing, tips and tricks, skills and knowledge in our individual specialities, and anything and everything craft and business related on the blog and/or own blogs, as well as scheduled chats, meets and/or workshops in the future. We also work on encouraging members to contact, help and promote for each other on local craft shows and if possible international craft shows in the form of passing business cards, consignments, etc.
