A huge thank you goes out to Cathy of CJW Design and Bev of Classy Cook Aprons who attended the event at West Elm with my grand-daughter and me. Also to Jennifer Janiero who really put things together behind the scenes and ended up in the hospital with food poisoning the day before the event. She had her sister bring the donations so many of you were able to send in, brought over to West Elm and we stuffed the bags as the event got started.
It was a very successful evening and a ton of fun! Pictures on the blog!
The event not only highlighted Etsy, it was the ornaments we made at the table that were put on the Christmas tree as donations to Girls Inc., which is a Jacksonville based organization helping girls. Our ornament donations helped them afford ornaments, among other things, to make their holidays brighter!
Thanks to everyone that participated and God Bless you all!
Shelly

Glad to hear everything went well Thursday! Sorry I was unable to make it. I ended up spending most of my birthday (yesterday) and slept till about noon today. I think this was my body's way of telling me I needed to take a break! Starting to feel somewhat human again this afternoon. I was supposed to do RAM today, but obviously no dice there.

Shelly and Jennifer, thanks for all your hard work on the West Elm event. And Jennifer I hope you get to feeling better soon too!

Hi all. I'll do my best! My world isn't any less crazy than it ever was, but since I created the blog in the first place, I want to see it succeed! :-) I started a blog thread here: www.etsy.com/teams/5265/north-florida-craft-revolution/discuss/9412...

Please comment with your ideas.

Thanks. Kelly

Good morning everybody...Happy Tuesday!!!

Hope everyone's week is off to a good start!!

I'm not liking this hot weather..... I like it cold in December, but so far, that ain't happening... I see that we will cool down some at the end of this week....*crossing fingers* that it will feel somewhat like holiday weather.

Everybody: Kelly posted a question to ya'll two days ago (see above post) and so far nobody has responded to that thread but me. This is YOUR team, you need to have a voice in what goes on, and we need to have more participation by more members, but we (meaning the leaders) rarely hear from more than just a handful of folks.... we need your input!!!!

Hope everybody has a great Tuesday!!
