ShowMe Etsy - St. Louis Metro and surrounding areas is a moderated team with the following requirements:
ShowMe Etsy is a moderated team that accepts applications through a membership drive twice a year, visit www.facebook.com/showmeetsy to stay posted on when the next drive starts. (DO NOT use the "Join This Team" button on the left, you must submit an application during a membership drive)
Our Membership Requirements
• You must live within a 100-mile radius of St. Louis, Missouri
• You must be 21 years of age or older
• You must be passionate for arts, crafts, and supporting all things handmade
• You must be willing to support the whole Etsy community as well as the goals of ShowMe Etsy
• You must be a seller on Etsy.com with at least 5 items in your shop. Handmade items in your shop must be derived from your original work or works. Any medium is acceptable.
• Your Etsy shop must comply with all of the Etsy Dos and Don’ts stated at www.etsy.com
• Accepted members must pay annual membership dues of $24 (Summer/Fall applicants pay $12 for the first year)
ShowMe Etsy Team Standards
1. The Team will meet quarterly for general business, enrichment, and social time. Attendance at quarterly meetings is required unless there is a family emergency or such. Non-meeting months may have an optional social or craft together opportunity so the members can socialize and network.
2. Members are required to actively contribute to the team through activities such as blog posts, Etsy treasuries, Facebook promotion, enrichment presentations, social events, etc. Each member will actively participate in at least one specialty committee.
3. Members will actively participate in the online team forum by checking at least once a week and posting. Important information such as meeting info, general discussion, sponsored trunk shows, craft resources, and other St. Louis area shows are posted here.
4. Each member must have an active Etsy shop with at least 5 listings of original handmade work or vintage items.
5. Upon acceptance, members must pay annual membership dues of $24 (Summer/Fall applicants pay $12 for the first year)
6. The Team will trust and respect each other.
