Carried Away: The Etsy Bag Makers Team is a moderated team with the following requirements:
The CABTeam membership is based on a number of criteria.
• The only requirement for membership is simple, you must have a current online shop where you sell handmade bags, handbags, purses, wallets, zip pouches, diaper bags, totes or anything else made of fabric, leather, plastic, yarn or whatever that can carry stuff. 50% of your shop listings should contain something bag related.(We understand that there may be times that your store is "empty". Existing members are asked to "re-bag" their stores within one quarter. ie: If you've sold out at Christmas time, please have your store restocked by March.)
• It is recommended (not required) that you list ONE bag in your shop (per year, month, or day...it's up to you) and donate 2% of the proceeds to one of our charities (from that one item) and you may use the CABTeam logo as one of the photos. This is NOT a requirement, it is ONLY a suggestion. Your item will be featured on our blog more often, and facebooked and tweeted about if you have an item in your shop whose proceeds you choose to donate. Send a convo to jandem and I will personally make sure that your item(s) and shop get their due recognition.
• It is recommended (not required) that you participate in at least one Team Challenge per year. All submissions will be tweeted, posted on facebook, blogged, and featured in treasuries. This will increase views of your submitted items, items will link back to your shop and increase your sales.
• Treasury participation is not required, but creating treasuries using team member items is encouraged.
• Membership in the CABTeam is voluntary. Members will be asked to leave the CABTeam for the following:
1. Abusive email/forum posting regarding another member in any CABTeam forum (etsy, flickr, blogger, etc.)
2. Misappropriation of another member's design
