Because we have had several applicants that have forgotten to click on the 'read more' under 'Who can join' and have not met the requirements, I have put the information here.
***Please read the requirements entirely before applying.***
To be a team member, there are just a few simple requirements:
1. You must have an Etsy shop to be a member and be at least 18 years of age.
2. Your shop must be minimum 50% crochet (crochet related items also count--sorry, generic craft supplies do not count as crochet related) with a minimum of 7 crochet/crochet related items listed.
3. Use of the team tag is a requirement on your crocheted/crochet related items listed in your shop once you have been approved as a member. *Please do not tag generic craft items, or crafted items that are not crocheted with the team tag (ex: ceramic pots, picture frames, vintage items not made by you).
4. Please try to be an active team member. This does not mean you have to post in our promo thread every day, or chat on a very regular basis...but *some* activity is required, even just a few times a month. This could be dropping by our group page to let us know how you're doing, posting a few times in our promo thread on Etsy to help keep it visible in the forums.

Just bumping this up closer to the top. Boy, do I REALLY wish I could mass message everyone! With over 200 members, we have (as usual) only a handful that seem active here. By active, I do not mean every day, see #4 above.
I am glad to see some of our newer members joining us in some of our discussions!

Because links are not clickable now, and because for some reason when you copy and paste the link to this thread in your browser on Etsy, it adds what seems to be html bits and the link is rendered useless, I'm bumping this up to keep it in sight...then trying tinyurl or bit.ly. :)

can you explain rule #3 please... do I just tag in my listing the name etsy hookers? Sorry not too sure how to tag properly yet.

Kenora44, you can use the tag 'Etsyhookers team' (without the quotes) as the tag.

Our membership is growing!
Unfortunately, team forums are not like the main forums, we do not have sections.
In order to keep things neat and to prevent an overabundance of promo threads, we will have a new promo thread each month, which will be open to the public.
There is also a treasuries thread, for treasuries you've curated, or for treasuries you are featured in.
Our chat thread is private, and is for friendly chatter, please do not promote in the chat thread, those posts may be deleted.
*IF* Etsy decides to allow teams to have sections, this may change.

Hi! New here:) Thanks for letting me join your club! I'm in the process of listing some new crochet items & want to be clear on the team tag. I need to tag my crochet items with "Etsy Hookers", correct? Or is there a different tag to use?

(edited to add) btw, if you find you're running short on tags for some items, don't worry about it, as long as you have some of your items tagged with the team tag, that's fine. :)
