Tell me what you think. I agreed to trade for an item, but this person wants me to pay for shipping. I have invested a lot of money and time making the items that I agreed to make plus I will have to pay for shipping on these items that I am making. I just ask if she wanted me to just buy the item?

I do not think she is. Polymer clay items are heavy and I ship priority mail for those items. She said to send less PMC items, but I afraid she may not like them or do not realize the time or cost involve in making these items so I offered to buy the item she made.

Trades are supposed to be even up. Your total cost with shipping and her total cost with shipping.
So, if your item is $20 and it's 6.00 to ship. You would have $26 total that you would receive. Even if her item is only 2.50 to ship, then you would have 23.50 in product from her.
Did I make it clear as mud?
I've already had to cancel a trade for that reason. She wanted $10 in product from me and I was supposed to only get $4.00 in product. Our shipping costs would have been the same. I'm like, no.
No cash trades hands unless both trading partners agree.
