To get started... tags/titles

So, you're new to the group and are eager to get started... me too!
Here are a few suggestions to make things easier- on yourself and the rest of the members!
Tag at least 40% of your items with "TCC". This will make searching for other members' items much easier, and will make fulfilling the 75% member item quota per treasury a breeze!
The more items you tag the better, as it of course means that all of your items will turn up in member searches.
Now, tagging can be time consuming when you've got many items, and it can also take up that valuable tagging space. So, how can your items turn up in a search without using a tag? Add TCC to your title! Add it to the end, so it's not the first thing your potential customers see, and to make it less 'odd', you can always put TCC team so they'll realize what it means.
I know, it's time consuming to change titles/tags individually! Thankfully there are a couple of websites to help us change whichever you choose:
-->Craftopolis.com allows you to change titles/price/description easily in one go. This was my go-to for changing my titles to reflect our team!
To do this use "edit express", select "all", "title", "add to end".. then type in TCC team and save your changes!
-->EtsyOnSale.com is a place where you can modify all your tags. Now, this will cost you $1 to do a bulk change, but they also have other services [for starting/stopping sales] that are worth looking into. This also costs money, but may be a valuable service.
Any other questions? Comments? Suggestions? Drop us a line! We're here to help :)

I didn't know these services existed, this saves soo much time! Time I can spend making treasuries...
+ the craftopolis Tag report is really interesting to look at how successful the tags you use are, based on the report I altered some tags in my listed items!

bbtuna- I find it really intriguing to see what tags people are searching!! It's a very beneficial too, isn't it?
As for the incorrect tagging- When we first started tagging I noticed there were two additional random items that came up in a search, and they *did* make sense, even though they weren't part of our team. I'm curious now too and will also go look to see how much of an issue it is!
