i have a suggestion for coupon codes. it would be great to have more options available when creating a coupon codes.
for example, i would like to be able to create a one-time-use coupon code to give with a purchase to help the buyer make another purchase. i would love for there to be a date range or expiration date option for the coupon code. therefore, i could create a coupon code for a one time use, that expires in two weeks.
right now, as a new shop, it isn't too complicated to monitor and see if the coupon code has been used and then deactivate it. but it is quite a pain. plus, should i get to the point where i have multiple coupon codes out at one time, it would be exponentially more difficult to keep track of which coupon code to deactivate.
if there were a way to enter the ranges indicated, i could have a single use coupon code that would self-expire after it was used, or expire after a set expiration date.

Maybe post this in Ideas, Pat.
Personally, I have not found that buyers even use the Coupons. I'm interested to see how the Gift Cards go over. lol!

i suppose no one else has many issues with coupons? perhaps as helene said, not many people use them?
