WANT TO COMMENT ON FEEDBACK

I got a negative feed back today (my first sadly) but I have no way to comment on it to correct one thing she said that was completely untrue in it so I look bad and cant do anything! Also I think if someone is going to leave feedback it should be aloud to rebut it, like for instance I offered several ways to try to fix the problem and they just ignored me and left negative feedback not even allowing me to try to fix it. It doesn't make since why someone can get away with not telling the truth making a shop look bad with no way to fight it or show that I did try to resolve it and was just ignored!!

I totally agree but I get the sense from Etsy these days that the customers come first and sellers come around 10th or so.

Sellers should get to leave at least a one sentence reply to negative feedback. Future buyers can then use they're own judgement and read between the lines.

Unfortunately, feedback is almost written in stone with the only recourse being coming to some type of agreement and then kiss and make up! And it's too bad we can't put up a comment under it.

But I just read your feedback, and your other glowing comments should help to neutralize that one.

Your shop is adorable and one comment among all of the positive feedback would not bother me in the least.

ETSY is UNFAIR to it's sellers. Do they not realize that WE are their CUSTOMERS?

I totally agree ...
I was once held hostage and refunded $ PLUS the buyer got to keep the item...all to avoid a negative

feedback is broken:(

If its broken and you don't want to fix it...then get rid of it
*knows this all fell on deaf ears*

this is why a lot of sellers wait to leave feedback for their buyers (until feedback is left for them)... so you can rebuttle in return feedback.

you have a lovely shop.. and plenty of positives to counter it.

there's nothing you can do about it, so don't stress over it.. it won't make it go away and will just hurt you.

soon it will be on the next page and you won't even see it.

Many sellers withhold leaving feedback for customers for this very reason...so that you can respond when you leave feedback.

Problem is, no one can see the comments a seller leaves for a buyer in feedback...
