Where is the Black Friday promotion?

No promotion?
No banner?
Nothing on the FP?
Doesn't come up on Google under Black Friday Sales.
Nothing to back us up on all the work we've done to prepare?
How is a buyer going to know we're having Black Friday sales?
It's like expecting Santa Claus and he didn't show up.

Hi,

Heather updated the Black Friday / Cyber Monday announcement here: www.etsy.com/teams/7716/announcements/discuss/11245791/

We began promoting sales on 11/22 and will continue the promotion through 11/27, however the main focus is 11/23 - 11/26. 'Black Friday Etsy' tags will be highlighted roughly through 11/25 and 'Cyber Monday Etsy' tags will be promoted Sunday through Tuesday morning.

very disappointing to not see anything on the front page.

and i am not even having a sale, but many sellers spent hours getting ready and now the only thing i have seen is the etsy finds black friday email.

how would buyers even know how to find participating sellers?

last year i think the sellers organized the sale as i remember. i don't participate so i am not sure. this seems like this is first year that etsy has promoted the sale. maybe someone has a better memory than i do.

Completely agree, slightly disappointing. However, my views have already tripled and the day is young ;)

How many shoppers do you suppose got one of those emails? Promote to everyone not just a select few that get emails through etsy, that is my opinion.
