Etsy Stats - Now this would be BRILLIANT !!!

I really don't spend a ton of time looking at my stats. To me it's kind of like "Activity" it's interesting, but not that valuable when relating to "Sales"

Wouldn't it be...and COULD it be possible to have stats on the "sold" items. I think it would be so beneficial to see where your efforts are really paying off. In sales, not just tire kickers.

Admin...is this possible?

What stats are you looking for on "sold" items?

When an item is sold...where did that buyer come from...i.e pinterest, Facebook, etsy etc.

I think it would help us channel our efforts in a productive way. You know...our ideal target audience that results in sales, not just views.

If you enable Google Analytics in your shop, you can trace the paths for transactions, and get far more in-depth analytics for your ad campaigns and many other micro-reports.

google analytics is like trying to read chinese to me.

i think you're on to something marina, i would love to know how the found me...

Penny, I have GA enabled... Like I said, I don't spend a ton of time on it...but I'm pretty sure it won't pinpoint "solds". Unless, I'm missing something.

This is called conversion data. (from converting a click into a sale) and I ask for it about once a month in the ideas section. Keep plugging away though, the more voices ask for it the more likely they are to put developer time into it.

Been there, It'd be nice to know if sales are coming from Etsy or Google or who knows where. Kind of a moot point just now as sales aren't coming from anywhere.

google sales and traffic from offsite sales are kind of a give away sometimes. they don't have avatars and they signed up for their account the day of purchase.
