It seems to me fewer and fewer people are seeing treasures. Unless you are on a treasury team,friends with an admin or have an alert feed full of active members.
I have two suggestions...first do away with them all together and use those resources for something more beneficial to everyone. I dont want that option nor do I think many others do either.Second is moving where and how treasuries are viewed. Right now you actually have to first know about,then know how to find treasuries on the buy page. Why not add them to a scrolling viewer like the recently listed items and display them in a similar gallery style fashion. Just an idea.

Oh I like the idea of a scrolling gallery of treasuries. I might look at more that way. Right now the only time I look at them is when we are featured in 1. Good idea Chris :D

I look at treasuries all the time. The people in my circles are always putting them in my activity feed. When I click on one, I then click on next to see all the others.
If etsy feature any on their front page I sincerely believe the curators should be paid a fee as they have spent precious time working on them and etsy are benefiting from them.

i love sharing treasuries as well as creating them :)
i often go to check out most recent treasuries, i'm always excited to find out what finds are circling around :)
and when it comes to number of treasury visitors, the only thing i can recommend is - join an active team and share treasuries with your circles, both, those t's created by you and those which you discover while rambling around etsy.

I too love looking at treasuries and creating them :)
I think they are a fabulous way to promote other Etsy shops, in your circle or not in your circle.
Question: Why is the OP on treasury teams and making treasuries (very recently) if they say they don't want that option?
Just don't make them then, right?

The only way to get views is if they are on the front page or if i go and comment and favorite a set number of treasuries. I say if that's the only way to get noticed then it defeats the purpose of them as a marketing tool. Meaning the only ones who see the ones not deemed front page worthy get lost in the shuffle. I never suggested I dont like the feature, what I was saying is if new treasuries were scrolling like new listings on the front page casual users and new buyers would notice them, this would greatly improve the chances of these shops to get exposure.

I heard they've been changing every half hour on the US FP., that sounds like a good idea for the rest of the world.

that sounds cool. I wish when you typed etsy.com in your browser they saw a scrolling view of new items then under that new treasuries. Once you click on either it takes you too a gallery view of all recently posted treasuries.
From that the truly popular treasuries and the second tier have an equal opportunity to be viewed,loved or commented on.

that is only during holiday shopping season, we have been back to changing each hour since last week. :)
