i realize the front featured products will change now cuz it's no longer the holiday, but for the last several weeks when i checked the front page, there were the same photographs. it got way stale...are there only 4-10 items that qualify for the front page....out of all the bizillions of wonderful, unique, elegant and original items that are created by the wonderful members of etsy???? how do you think our buyers or potential sellers feel when they see the same old same old? like "man, what a stagnant site?" assign the different teams to rotate the featured items, pick a person of the week to pick the featured items...do something different pleasssseeeee.

Front page? What's that? (just kidding)
I almost never visit the front page; I mean, really, why bother. There isn't anything on the front page that is meaningful or relevant to a seller. And as a buyer I can find the search bar on every page on every shop.
Maybe Etsy should visit the question: What is the purpose of the front page? Does the purpose need readdressed?

I'm a web developer and graphic designer. You know how extremely easy it would be to set up a proper rotator of choosen products?
It could change every 5 minutes or anything.
They just don't want to do it!
They are advertising a new year party dress on january 3.
(Sorry, I'm angry generally today, so I shared my negative opinion here.)

Mercedes.IMHO .how many times have I said that etsy mgmt does not indend to do things that really rile the sellers. I think they do not know any better.
Perhaps etsy is the greatest thing on Broadway, but NYC is such a small place in the US/world.
Someone will start a site aiming for a greater customer base and promoting handmades exclusively....someday. mildred

No kidding! I actually forget there's a FP. I never visit it unless someone happens to mention it in the forums.
There's never been a thing there that is of interest to me.
Sorry Etsy, but you do a stinky job of letting new visitors know what Etsy's all about. How about a clue that there are antique and vintage items here?
And please get rid of that space hogging 'recently viewed' section! I KNOW what I just viewed!
