Hello! I am in the planning stages of starting my Etsy store and I'm relatively new to the site. Can I sell essential oils in my store, even if they are not made by me? Thanks in advance!

I believe that would be sold in the supplies category, I know folks sell essential oils here, I do believe it is totally allowed. Good luck, welcome to Etsy :)

Yep! You sure can, but it needs to be listed under Supplies :D
Some essential oils have low flash points and some can't be shipped by USPS. I believe the flash point is 200. Be sure to take into account using UPS or FEDEX costs.
As long as you list them as supplies there is no problem, as far as I know. -I love essential oils<3- Welcome and good luck..! :)

You should also make a note in each listing regarding how they will be shipped as many oils must be shipped by private courier rather than the USPS.

If you are a rep selling for a distributor like doTERRA, you probably need to ask Etsy.
The plain essential oils would probably be ok as supplies but blends you did not blend would not be allowed. Additionally, you wouldn't get able to link your etsy shop to your personal website if you are selling the same items both places.

Just wanted to add that if you are selling oils from a MLM company, they will likely be far too expensive and you won't be able to compete with other sellers.
I only know this from recent personal experiences with a friend who sells doTERRA and my own pricing of essential oils for making perfume.

I won't buy them here, I've bought them here in the past, and have ended up with fragrance, not actual oil. I find it better to purchase these in person at my local shop, where I can be sure.
