Please add USPS Scan Sheet Option in Etsy Shipping

Hi Etsy,
Love using your shipping, and now realize it would be even better if you would offer us the ability to print a scan sheet summary for our postal carrier to make their lives easier too. I did not understand how this function would be of benefit until I started this discussion here on a related topic

I am all for keeping my postal carrier efficient and happy, so that I and my customers can be happy too. This option is allowed in Paypal but obviously would not capture all my ships for the day if some of my customers opted for direct checkout.

To date, I have continued to use Paypal multiorder shipping primarily BECAUSE Etsy doesn't offer the USPS SCAN sheet!

That form was the USPS' answer to getting packages scanned into the Delivery Confirmation system and it eliminated those "We have been notified to expect an electronic postage label/package..." (whatever) messages that continued until the package was scanned, sometimes only at delivery. In the interim, buyers thought it had never been mailed and the tracking information in case of loss wasn't available if the USPS didn't do that first entry scan.

With the form, problem solved. Without the form...no Etsy labels for me.

As far as I can tell the SCAN form on Etsy is ONLY available to
-Shipping Improvement Team members (closed to new members now).
and
-when you are shipping 2 or more packages at the same time.

If you are only shipping one package, you lose that ability and the P.O. may or may not choose to scan in the single package. (With the sheet, they are supposed to scan whatever is in the outgoing shipment and mine does, consistently.)

If you aren't a team member, it isn't available at all.

Oh so that's what that scan thing is!! Haha. I have it I guess because I'm on the shipping improvement team. But yes it should be offered to all I agree

Aaaaahhhh...there is a "Shipping Improvements Team" and a Shipping Labels Improvements Team". What a difference one little added word makes!
