Google Plus Etsy!

Social networks are an amazing way to get your work out there, there's no doubt about it. You not only get to know your buyers and what they like, but you might get a few good friends along the way. And who doesn't love showing off their goodies!

I for one don't use Facebook, though. I don't think I'd fit in there. And there's some other privacy issues that Facebook just doesn't cover. Twitter is pretty cool and handy, but there's only so much you can do with so few characters. What I really love is Google Plus!

The community there reminds me a lot of ours. If you need any help, they're all on it in a second. Fun and interesting people. It's such a shame we don't have a Google Plus connect as well!

Please consider this, I've been a good girl!!

I don't even use google plus, but I think this is a good idea. Diversification can only help!

Google Plus is the new kid in the neighborhood, but it won't be lagging behind much longer.

"Google+ has hit 25 million users, making it the fastest growing website ever, according to a comScore report relayed by Reuters.

By comparison, it took Facebook 3 years, and Twitter 30 months, to hit that number, comScore says." (in August)

It's amazing how much it has grown! Specially if you consider that for the first months it was invite-only.

It would be an awesome addition to Etsy, IMHO!

I don't like that someone can follow you and you have no way to block them. Making sure you post only to certain lists so that person can't see what you say is a pain.

@ndnchick As long as you don't set your sharing settings to Public you won't share anything with people that aren't in your Circles (and therefore were added by you). It's actually a very cool feature. That way you can choose to share specific things with a group of people (like family business with just family!). I have my settings sharing my posts only with Circles and Extended Circles now.

@chicklitdesigns I was a bit confused about that at first, too. You can find it on your "Profile and Privacy". If you're logged in this link will probably work: plus.google.com/u/0/settings/privacy?tab=4
Otherwise you can just find it at Account Settings -> Profile and Privacy

It will be a weird looking thing like mine: profiles.google.com/u/0/110949503666223240946

If you're using Google Plus, feel free to add me! I already have a few Etsy sellers added in a circle. Love G+ so far and would enjoy the company! :)
