Original Post
Hi there!
As you may have seen on the Etsy News Blog, we recently launched a new Browse page, Fine Jewelry (www.etsy.com/browse/fine-jewelry). In case you missed it, here is some background from the original post (www.etsy.com/blog/news/2013/jewelry-on-etsy-is-anything-finer/):
Introducing Etsy’s Fine Jewelry
From custom engagement rings to one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, fine jewelry has had a rich history in Etsy’s marketplace. We’ve made it easier than ever to find these higher-end pieces through our newest Browse page, Fine Jewelry (www.etsy.com/browse/fine-jewelry).
New ways to shop with Fine Jewelry:
- Gemstone jewelry by color, for easy gifting.
- Designer vintage — from timeless trends to branded pieces.
- Enhanced engagement ring section, including antique rings by era and diamonds by cut.
- Styles for men, from rings to watches.
- By material: rose gold, silver and more!
By shopping for fine jewelry on Etsy, you’re able to connect directly with the designer or vintage collector. Whether you have questions about the history of a piece, or want to develop a custom design for a loved one, the conversation is yours to start! Your love-fueled dollars will go far in supporting an independent seller, as well as sharing a unique gift — both in style and in story.

We wanted to share a little more about Fine Jewelry, in case you have further questions:
How are items chosen?
Fine Jewelry operates like any other browse page — the landing page is merchandised with items representing different sections, and you’ll see a list of all Fine Jewelry sections at the top of the landing page. Once you click into a section, the items are populated based on relevancy to that section’s theme. The items within the sections and subsections are not curated. For more FAQ’s about Browse, visit this Help article: www.etsy.com/help/article/3323
The only difference with Fine Jewelry, is that the items must meet a minimum price point, which at launch is $200. You will also notice that the price filter has been removed — we’re working on a price filter that is more relevant to this browse page. This price point may change once we see how shoppers interact with Fine Jewelry. Like other browse pages, the shopping sections are flexible and may change over time.
Why Fine Jewelry?
Our goal with the addition of Fine Jewelry Browse is to make the shopping experience easier for buyers. With Jewelry as our largest listing category and increased demand for Valentine’s Day, we’re taking this opportunity to expand the ways that buyers can explore our sellers’ offerings.
