Automatic Bill Payment Feature for Etsy Bills Coming Soon

Original Post
The wait is over -- you’ll soon have one less bill to worry about! We’re excited to start rolling out a highly requested automatic bill payment feature that will make managing your Etsy bill stress-free. Running a shop can be hard work, and we want to offer the tools to make it as easy as possible.
Automatic billing will help save time and reduce the chances of forgetting to log-in and going overdue. Instead of manually logging in to your account to pay your bill each time, you will soon have the option to pay your Etsy bill automatically every month with a card on file.
While most sellers will only see bill payments processed on the first of the month for the previous month's balance, we're also introducing the concept of a fee threshold (www.etsy.com/help/article/3709#feeth) for sellers with particularly high Etsy bills (over $25 per month). If you pass your fee threshold in a calendar month, you'll be charged for the amount of your bill at the time you pass the threshold. Every seller will have their own fee threshold determined by historic bill data, meant to minimize the number of payments you have in a month. Your threshold amount will be stated on the Your Bill page, where you will also be able to see how close you are to your threshold at any time.
We’re starting to gradually introduce this capability to sellers, and will be first rolling it out to US shops over the next couple of months. Keep an eye out for newly designed billing pages and the option to enable the feature on the Your Bill page. Stay tuned in to the Etsy News Blog -- we'll let you know more details on the feature as soon it’s available to our larger community!
