Eric,
Thanks a bunch for coming back to answer some of the questions. Another one from me:

What does "clicked a link in an email client" include? Does it include Etsy Finds or any of the other Etsy email campaigns or would it specifically be links in emails not directly from Etsy (i.e., when I send a link to a customer)?

-----

If someone uses an email client, for example Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, any time they click a link to an Etsy page in an email, there won't be a referrer and it would show up as Direct Traffic. We're working on improving how we track Etsy specific emails.

Oh, I've come up with another question. I was reviewing my top keywords and notice that one of my keywords is "Direct Traffic." I'm fairly sure I don't actually have people finding me by using the search term "Direct Traffic" so, what does that mean?

-----

That means the person entered a blank search (they just hit search without entering a search term). The "Direct Traffic" label is confusing here. We're going to change the name and make that more clear.
Eric,
Thanks for the explanation. Good to know. Would be good to see specific Etsy emails so we know when we're found through them but I imagine most of those fall under "Other" for the majority of sellers on Etsy.
Thanks for the kind words everyone!

It's clear that some of the terms are confusing or unclear. We're working on inline explanations for any terms that aren't self explanatory.

Seriously?! I got 20 views from people searching without searching for anything, LOL. What pulls up when someone does that--just the most recently listed items?
Two more questions for Eric -

1) will it be possible in the future to view more specific stats inside the "Category" stats (which categories specifically lead ppl to ones shop)

2) same question for "Your Sections" (stats for all the Sections in ones shop)

ah, and a 3rd one if possible - can I connect the "search" stats with "top keywords / Etsy" and interpret them as - Which keywords ppl used in Etsy search to reach my shop? Is that correct?

Thank you! Great work!
I just noticed this feature and am so excited about it! Thanks so much!
love it...thanks so much!!!
Feeling left out :(
Hoping to get this feature soon so I overdose on analytics.
