Shipping label has my phone number!!

I just went to use DC/Etsy shipping for the first time. I've stuck with PayPal shipping until now. The form requires my phone number saying that the PO requires it for Express Mail. My package is not Express Mail but the phone number appears as part of the return address on the last page before printing my label. I don't want my phone number on every package I ship. If I remove it will I still be able to ship the package?

Sami Pat the phone number does not print on the label unless it is an Express Mail label. I don't think you can print the label if you remove the phone number.

You're right. I tried removing the number and it would not allow it.
I went ahead and printed the label and the number did not print.
I'm sure this will spook others when they try it for the first time.

I noticed that too! I planned on using a Sharpie to cover it, but thankfully it did not print on the label.

Yes, it would be helpful if the note not only said it was required for Express mail but also that the number will only print on Express mail labels.

glad I found this information! I was ready to print the label on etsy this morning but decided to choose paypal instead because of that phone number
