i am new to this website i am wondering how much th fees are in GBP coz everything seems to be US money. is the fee a daily charge or do you just get 1 charge per listing

There is a one time listing fee- that occurs when you list the item.
Then there is a fee when you sell the item.
If you RELIST/RENEW a listing, you get a one time then as well.
The fees don't go day to day.

.20 to list an item (good for 4 months)
.20 to relist (also good for 4 months)
3.5% when the item sells.
.25 plus 3% fee for credit card processing a transaction through etsy direct checkout.
.30 plus 2.9% fee for processing a transaction through paypal.

It amounts to approx 12 pence per listing which lasts for 4 months. It does fluctuate as currency conversions change but it is well worth it.
the listing fee is for 4 months and is about £0.12 GBP

Let's say I list a new item with a price of $100.-
If the item sells using Paypal, I will be billed for .20 cents listing fee plus $3.50 Etsy sales fee plus .30 cents Paypal fee plus $2.90 Paypal processing fee for a grand total of $6.90
