Is Craft Beer Allowed On Etsy?

I know that shops must be specially licensed to sell alcohol online, but is there a specific rule that disallows the sale of craft beer on Etsy? I haven't been able to find one.

A search for "craft beer" turns up nothing and I would love to bring some to my dad when I visit him over the Christmas holidays. It's become kind of a tradition for us to try a new one each year after we drag in the Christmas tree.

The sale of alcohol is prohibited on Etsy...sorry

I'm also pretty sure it is illegal to ship alcohol isn't it?

Ah, that's too bad. Brooklyn is one of the craft beer capitals of the world! They should reconsider that rule!

It is kinda funny that it's prohibited. It's not illegal.

With the proper paperwork, it's perfectly legal to sell online. I wonder why they don't allow it here.

I don't think so. I get catalogs with wine, etc, in them and I can think of a couple of sites that sell specialty liquors.
