How is it that, as of right now, my stats show 618 listing views today, yet GA only shows 65?

Hi Mike!
We've got a Help article that answers the question of how accurate Google Analytics reports are here:
www.etsy.com/help/article/236
But your question is answered more directly here:
www.etsy.com/help/article/544
I hope this is helpful!

GA counts things differently than Etsy stats. I believe Etsy every single click on each page regardless of who it is from whereas GA may count multiple clicks by one visitor as only one. But don't quote me on that.

Rob, Thanks for the reply, but I don't buy it.
Unless I was featured somewhere (I looked, and I don't think that I was), the shop stats number is unrealistically high for my shop. I'm more inclined to believe the GA number.

What exactly do your stats say? Are the views from Etsy, Google, Facebook, etc? Then off to the right, what does it say? Your Shop, Teams, Search, Front Page, etc.
Do you have certain item getting a lot of views? Was it in a treasury?
also make sure your stats are set to today only.

Jenni, thanks for your input, but I know how to read my stats. The question is -- why the big difference between Etsy stats and GA. And, if you read my reply to Rob above, you would see that I wasn't featured anywhere (that I could find) that would account for that number of views.

Mike, it's probably just a big old Etsy glitch, especially if you don't typically get huge spikes in your views without being featured anywhere. It's not surprising to have something wonky going on here!
