Having problem paying with a credit card - help!!

I pay my three shops with a credit card and I have zero problem with this, however i'm trying to make a large purchase and the seller says they indeed take CCs. I have the items in my cart and when i try to pay the only way is the green Paypal button. The seller does a LOT of sales and is trying to help me although they have no idea whats wrong. I do not have my shop linked to my bank yet.

Please if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please let me know.

If the seller doesn't accept DC, you'll have to check out using Paypal to process your card. Log out of Paypal, and you'll see a link that says "don't have a Paypal account?". Then you'll be able to enter your card info.

They do accept Credit Cards, I just can't figure out how to pay them with one.
I have 2 paypal accounts for my shops - can i still pay with a Credit card?

If so, how? Thank you SO much!

Are the credit card logos in their shop next to the paypal logo (in the listing where it says "payment methods") or on a separate line? If they are next to the Paypal logo then the seller only takes cards through Paypal.

You can use your card through Paypal as a guest if it isn't hooked to one of your Paypal accounts. If it is hooked to a Paypal account they will want you to log into that account to pay and you'll have to use your Paypal balance first if you have one.

They probably accept credit cards through Paypal only. Only people that are signed up for direct checkout can accept credit cards directly. Yes, you can still do what I described even with Paypal accounts.

If a shop takes Paypal, it shows the credit card logos as well as the Paypal logo. It doesn't necessarily mean the shop takes credit cards directly. If they don't take Direct Checkout, you have to go through Paypal, I believe.
