I have had 2 Etsy shops since 2008, No Stone Left Unturned (wire wrapped stones/jewelry) and No Stone Left Unturned 2 (rocks, fossils, supplies). I've worked very hard to build a customer base here on Etsy, in the process making a lot of money for Etsy, not causing any trouble, just doing my thing. Recently I've been getting messages about a third shop I have ( I DO NOT HAVE A THIRD SHOP). I've come to find out there's a fairly new shop called "No Stone Untunred" (yes it's misspelled) that sells wire wrapped stones and rocks amongst other things. It seems very wrong to me that this new shop can come in and just stomp all over the last almost 5 years that I've been on Etsy doing my thing. Is there anything I can do?

A shop using my name and selling similar items

I don't know that you can do anything about a similar sounding name, but if you're receiving messages from Etsy that suggests you opened this 3rd shop, I would contact Admin. Do the messages suggest that you set up the misspelled shop with your own email address? I wonder if your account has been compromised.
You can try to get in touch with Admin, but I don't know if they can or will do anything. The other seller could have been selling under that name off Etsy for years for all you know, and has just as much right to open an Etsy shop.
When I started in 2008 I was going to open with the shop name "Pretty Rocks". I thought it was SO uber creative and was disappointed to find it, and every variation, was already taken.
Unless you have that name legally trademarked, I doubt there's anything you can do.

Definitely contact admin. to make sure your account is secure. If it is, I can honestly see how someone could independently have chosen the same shop name. It's clever but it's also a familiar saying. However, if they deliberately misspelled it because they knew the name was taken, that's a whole other story...
I would be annoyed, too!
