Using Appreication photos for pictures

I have a question does anyone ask any of your buyers if you can use their appreciation photo for the listings. Do you ask when they are ordering as in asking hey if you are using those doilies for invitations if you will send me a photo of the invitation done I will take 10% off or do you just ask no discount.
Can you put something in your shop announcement offering a discount for completed photos for allowing to list as a photo in a listing Or would that open a can of worms
or trying to keep track not that I would bug them if they did not send me one
Just wondering how you would go about this and if you can is it tacky to ask? I got one photo in my other shop and would love to use it in a listing should I contact the buyer and ask if it is ok even tho it was a few months ago or is it to late to ask.

Are you asking if a buyer buys something of yours and then you ask for a photograph of what they bought being used?
Or, are you asking about the appreciation photos given with feedback?

I have always asked if I can use the photo that they left me in their feedback in one of my listings or promotions.

On receipts with orders, I used to say "send me a photo of you dancing in your Merry Maenad design, and get a coupon code for 10% off your next purchase." I did get a few takers. I didn't ask to use the photos for promotional purposes, and I actually had one customer who requested that I not use hers online anywhere.
I've sent appreciation photos with my feedback, and it wouldn't bother me if the seller wanted to use them provided I was given full credit.
ETA: I should probably specify that the appreciation photos I send show how I used the seller's supplies in my designs, hence the need for getting credit for the photo if used.

Either photos if they sent as appreciation photos or sent me a picture of items they did for their wedding I would love to use some of them as I love to have one picture of an item staged for use so people can see how it can be used
I just do not have time to stage every item I sell with three shops just for one photo but I would love to have one. I would not use it as the main picture just one of the four other photos. I would not mind giving credit or letting buyers know it is a appreciation photo in fact I would like to do that anyways

Just be certain to ask, and save the answer,in your files.. also if the photo is of an identifiable person, ask them to sign a Model Release to make it legal for Internet Marketing purposes.
