Shipping 2 orders in one??

If I got 2 orders from the same buyer but she purchased them individually (2 receipts), what happen if I ship them together? Technically I will purchase one shipping label and ship one package.
If I have the email stated that she acknowledged and agreed with it can she then later open a case of item not receive on the other item?

If you haven't shipped one of them yet, I'd send them together and refund the excess shipping!

If you have shipped one or have it all packaged up already, it's not your fault she purchased the second item later. So ship that separate :)
If the buyer ordered 2 items & they fit in one package, ship them that way.
I always do!
Technically yes you need 2 shipments for 2 orders placed. If you have email conversation between you and the buyer, and the agree it should be fine. Just that I would take pictures of the items in the box with shipping label etc just in case.
I have not ship both and usually I ship both together. But I just curious if buyer can open case non delivery on one of the order in this situation.
I understand what your saying lynn, I have often thought about that also..
I do ship the two transactions together, but I add a note to buyer stating that both transactions are shipping together and I include both invoice #'s in the note.. I feel maybe PP pr etsy will see that and it might be a little protection for me. I also print the label from the higher priced sale just in case. I have never had a problem but realize it could happen
I think convo's would work if your shipping through Etsy.. However PP does not consider emails evidence since they can be changed, Thats why i write the note when i in the note to buyer when I'm getting the label.. but if that would really help, i don't know.. taking a picture is not real proof either.. a didhonest seller could take a picture with it all in the package and then take it out again.. You might be able to prove it was all shipped by the weight of the package.
This happens to me occasionally. I group shipping together then refund the excess. I just make sure that I convo and let the customer know.
Yes, it makes me nervous sometimes. But the reason is that I can ship 2 order in sturdy box instead of bubble envelope for individual order. It's better protection.
I just checking out and see if someone have experience regarding this :-)
Thanks for replying guys!
I had this the other day. At first I was going to group them together, then I realised it would cost $37 to ship, so I sent them separately and saved $21.

I did leave a note in the packages though saying one was parcel #1 and one was parcel #2.
