I'd love to know if it makes a difference in search results if you put a lot of tags in your title. Is it more likely to show up if the tags are in the title and in the tag section?

Well from what I understand your tags should match your titles, so in a way yes. Obviously you can;t put your entire title in as you have a limit of 20 characters but I think it should be done in clumps, unless its changed again.

It seems redundant to include tags in the title and tag section...just wondering why some people still do that...
I paste my title to the tag section & divide with commas. Sometimes I add or subtract a few words but works for me. Lovely shop Janet!

Not tags -- keywords and keyword phrases. Titles are important for search engines outside of Etsy. Tags are just for Etsy. Titles are supposed to make sense in the language in which they are written, not be a long mess of keyword soup.

I don't put any tags in my titles.
I simply use keyword phrases that a buyer would search if they were looking for what I'm selling.
I try to write my titles so that they make sense when they are being read by a human.
I keep the tags in the tags area.
