So, why is it a thread can get closed quicker than flies on poop, yet when I look in business topics and site help, there are UNANSWERED threads waiting for an answer... One about color issues that has been there since Saturday. Why is it easier to get a thread CLOSED than ANSWERED?

people don't flag questions, usually.
Also, the forum admin often refer questions to others, so they have to wait to get an answer back before they can reply publicly.

Maybe because it's easier to see that something doesn't belong than to come up with a suitable answer?
BTW...this will get closed too because you are basically referring to your previously closed thread from today.
But still, good luck to you in your next venture.

I haven't seen the administration answering any pertinent questions. Two people have asked the same question here with no answer.
Meanwhile, I've enjoyed talking among ourselves.

In just about every case we would prefer to be assisting community members who need assistance in using the site rather than closing threads (with the only exception I can think of being threads in Bugs being closed because the problem was fixed). However, we reach each respective matter as soon as we can and hope that among those are as few threads that warrant closure as possible.
