what is that about? I keep having new people join my circle or add me to their circle or whatever you might call it and then once I have added them (which I always do) stupid, uber-nice me) they leave again.
And I have so many people in my circle that I really don't know who it is who has added me and then deletes me once I have added them.
So what's the point of that? They are not getting any promo out of that, are they? The activity feed does not include our newly listed items or messages from us about sales we are hosting or the like. So what's the point? I can see who else they are adding to their circle (and then deleting again?) and I can see what items they like. but am I just not getting it? What are they getting out of that?
And before I forget, how do I delete someone from my circle again?

I am guessing it's their way of getting more people to add them to your circle. Or perhaps they made a mistake and didn't mean to circle you and quickly undid it. Sometimes I accidentally favorite a shop when I didn't mean to and quickly unfavorite it. I always feel bad when I do it, but I like to keep my favorites (and circles) actual shops I like (and want to follow).

They have got you to add them to your circle -- and so have got their shop seen by you at least
and if you should have also favourited any of their items too, then those items will be seen by people whose circles you belong to
Just dont automatically add everyone who circles you to your circle -- only add those people you are genuinely interested in

Ive never understood that either, circles arent there for self promotion, they are there to share favourites and treasuries!! I would start only adding those that you are interested in rather than everyone if i were you.

Grrr spammers.
They want to be in your Circles in the vain hope that if you favorite something of theirs it will be good for them.
The situation I loathe with Circles is when someone circles me and half an hour after receiving notification I can't even find my shop in their Circle because they've added pages and pages of more shops. It's just number gathering and I won't circle those that practice this.

No actually, for most people in my circle I never see their shop, so gthey don't get any promotion out of it. If I add them to my circle I only see what items (form other shops) they favorite but I don't see their own stuff. And I have 270 people in my circle, frankly. I just don't have the time, I don't go and see all their shops. But circles aren't about liking other people's shops, it's about sharing your taste, is it not? I mean I see what they like and they see what I like but we don't see each other's stuff. I I like a shop and the items in a shop I favorite the shop but that does not mean that person is in my circle.

Yes - it's about admiring their taste. I have some people with AMAZING taste in my Circle. It's great for me because I don't have much time to browse and tahdah - all these beautiful items (to my taste!) show up in my activity feed. Wonderful - they are items that I would never find!

I rarely add people to my circle just because they've added me to theirs. I have people in my circle because I like what they've marked as favourites.
