She notified me by e-mail, with a not so happy note, asking why I would take her payment, and then say I don't ship to her. I did respond via e-mail to reassure her that her item will be shipped to her, and that I didn't send her that message.
Please Etsy, fix this problem! I expect to get a possible negative feedback due to you sending out these sorts of messages to my customers. Why would you do this???? Now I have to worry about a not so happy customer leaving bad feedback for this transaction.
Needless to say, I'm not anymore happy than my customer is at this point!
Here's her note to me minus her name and personal information:
"Hi Karen, I am very confused. I have placed an order on the Etsy web site for a Wedding Purse item no. 84652412. I have processed the order using my Mastercard and have received confirmation, however I then got a message flagged up to say that the item does not ship to the UK. I am now not sure if I will receive my order or if not has my money been taken from my card?
I would appreciate an answer ASAP as this item is for my daughter's wedding and I will need to look elsewhere if you are unable to ship. Not very happy about this.
