Shipping Options not showing up for Buyer's Country

Has something changed recently on Etsy? Or this a new "feature" of the shipping prototypes team?

I've gotten two convos from customers in the last week tell me that they are in the US, and I'm in the US, but US shipping is not showing up when they view my item. The first customer figured out that s/he needed to change something about his/her own location settings? But I'm not sure what that was.

I know it's not on my end, but I don't know what exactly to tell customers to do to fix it on their end.

Also, why do I need to tell them to fix something?? Why aren't all shipping options that I have listed showing up on the listing page?

Hi Jessie, I'm really sorry about this. It sounds like you're buyer has encountered an experiment that may be giving her some troubles. I've alerted the right folks about this and hopefully they can get things sorted out very soon. Sincere apologies to you and your buyer for the troubles, I hope they'll be able to complete their order.

Please keep us in the loop!

I really hate this new test and hope it gets canned soon. I'm in Canada and every item in my cart only shows shipping costs to the U.S. I have to use the drop down menu and scroll to find Canada to view the correct cost for each time. It's time consuming and annoying not being able to see the shipping cost from a glance while viewing items in my cart. Not to mention, it's confusing,
Its not only confusing but its frustrating!

I don't want to be sorting through items in my cart and attempting to purchase only to find that the shipping is unreasonable or that combined shipping isn't available.

A buyer should have to jump through hoops in order to purchase on Etsy. It should be an extremely pleasant experience!
what Jessie said: Why aren't all shipping options that I have listed showing up on the listing page?

SAME! Received convo from customer in Ireland asking about shipping rate...since I list U.S. and Everywhere Else I thought it would be in the listing but I checked and it wasn't...Everywhere Else had disappeared.

So I Edited the Listing and put Everywhere Else back in, it showed on Preview, but not when Published...disappeared again!

So I Edited again and put in specifically Ireland....same thing: shows up in Preview, but not once Published!

If I add two shipping rated for the U.S. (now that holidays mean people are convoing about rush delivery), the U.S. rates show up but not Everywhere Else.

It;s not like I'm listing dozens of countries, with multiple options (although people do!)...I can't get more than two lines to show in Listings!
The bug is in the Shipping Rates options.

If I put in just one single "Shipping Rate", my listings are messed up. Only the U.S. shows, Everywhere Else disappears.

Went in and cancelled all "Shipping Rates"...left just only option, and Everywhere Else shows up again.

Too bad because that was going to be a cool option, to let customers know how fast their purchase could get there depending on how much they were willing to pay for shipping, but the code has a glitch.

HI Janet,

I'm not entirely sure this issue is the same as yours. I did respond in your other thread, so let's follow through there. Thanks!
Thanks Matt
