Hi,
Went through browse to locate my items by location. Not one of my items can be found by location. Had selected my location by Etsy's drop down "suggestions" as Alexandria, Virginia, United States. Zero results for any of my items by location. I did notice that the shops which were found in the location search for Virginia were listed as "City Name, VA, United States." Changed my location manually to Alexandria, VA, United States, and still nothing in the browse results by location for my shop items. Can you please check into for me.
Thanks.

They changed my location recently from Bronx, to Borough of Bronx, but didn't tell anyone, so any older shops who had entered Bronx, now couldn't be found by their location. I only found out when I was trying to help someone out in the forums. Is it possible they changed your location name?

Hi Eileeen,
I went back in to delete and check what they had in the drop down. It is Alexandria, Virginia, United States, as it always was. I've also noticed that I'm not in the location search link either. What I can't go figure is why the shops that are showing in the browse location have VA instead of Virginia spelled out. In the Etsy profile drop down it is only Virginia for Alexandria, not VA. Don't know if that has anything to do with it????
By the way, haven't heard the Bronx called a borough since I learned them in grade school. I guess I was born in the Borough of Brooklyn. lol.

Believe me, I'm not happy with the change. Nobody calls it the Borough of Bronx. And it's hard to find in the dropdown menu. But I don't know how many people shop that way anyway.
But I too am from the Borough of Brooklyn. Sheepshead Bay to be exact.
That's really weird about VA vs. Virginia. That's got to be why, but if you can't choose the correct option something ain't right.
