Help! I am stuck inside both of my shops & cannot log out, anyone else?

I cannot sign out of my stores - for about a week I cannot sign out...and today I am in both my stores at once! I click on convos in one store and then, my shop and I am in the other one....I click on an item to edit and it acts as if I am a buyer and need to put it into my cart instead of letting me edit....but if I go to listings, I can edit the item as if I am inside the correct store...I had heard there might be some work being done on the sign out buttons...well mine must be stuck in there somewhere because I can not sign out and never get a sign in button, it just acts like it is signing out when I click it , but still says sign out and does not get me out of the store. I have tried clearing the cache, restarting my computer...going to etsy.com but I am still in my store!

Can anyone look into this for me?? Is anyone else having an issue?

Have you cleared your browser's cache recently?

That sounds very much like your computer is getting confused.
crochetgal--she says she did--cleared cache, that is--also rebooted.

That is one of the weirdest bugs I have heard of!

@Janet Maglich--have you tried using a different browser?
I really don't know how to use a different browser, never have done it?
I am trying not to download a bunch of different things...do I need to in order to do this?
sorry, I missed the part about you having cleared your cache.

What browser are you using?

I've found that if I'm using Firefox and then switch to either Chrome or IE that the problems will clear up.

It never hurts to have more than one browser installed.
Janet, no, you don't have to download a bunch of things. Its easy to install Firefox or google chrome.

I agree that it is a really weird bug. Kind of funny though! When I read your title, it made me laugh-you are stuck in not one shop, but two-lol! The stuff nightmares are made of!
Have you tried deleting your cookies?

Thanks for the great tips! Janet, please let us know if clearing your cache and cookies helps. It's also a good idea to try using a different browser to see if the same issues are present.

Cheers!
Janet--if you are still around and stuck

What browser are you using? Do you have more than one on your computer.

Most PC's come with only IE installed and it does not work well with etsy (or anything else!)

If you need to install firefox or chrome it is very simply. Most anyone who comes in here can tell you how.
