Why doesn't my shop name show up when I search it on Google?
I put in "noncomplex" and "jewelry" and even "etsy" and it doesn't appear at all. The websites that show aren't even relevant. I'm new so please help. I feel like I've edited my shopmultiple times based on the SEO and Etsy handbook and tips I've studied and don't seem to get seen even when I search myself. Please advise. Thanks so much!

Hi Stephanie! I also noticed your shop showing as 6th in a Google search result when searching for "noncomplex." Please note that Google may show different results depending on who is search, where they're located, and when they search. Google is quite crafty like that.
Nic Fit, I just tested a search for "NicFitVintage" and you are first in the results. Your shop's title shows as the description for the link in Google.
Please keep in mind that since Google is a separate entity, we can't make any promises on how or what will show in their results. They do crawl the site frequently, but it can take some time for updates to your shop to appear in Google results, and they may change their search algorithms frequently.
Cheers!

Hello,
I am also having the same difficulty listed above. My shop is Fern and Acorn, and I don't see it anywhere when I type it into google. Can you please give me some advice? I have already checked to be sure that the title is properly listed on my etsy site. Oh, and I should note that if I type "FernandAcorn," I do see the site, but I would like people to be able to find it by using my name with the spacing.
Thank you!
Melanie

Hi Melanie,
Your shop name is considered one word here on Etsy. The best way to promote it as a phrase is to get the word out on Facebook, Twitter and blogs. That's commonly called SEO (Search Engine Optimization) here and elsewhere, and there are numerous threads in Business Topics and many teams devoted to it. A quick search should bring up many results. Thanks!
