Etsy site not working on iPhone

Yes I know there's an app, but it's not fully functioned so I can't use it. I use the regular site on my iPhone which has been just fine. But now today it's super zoomed in making me scroll excessively to do anything and I can't zoom out. Please fix so I can get back to business! Thanks!

We're investigating your reports here to find any bugs that may exist when using the site with a mobile browser. If you're having trouble zooming check to see if you're viewing the page in standard or mobile view and post your info here.

If you're having trouble zooming I wanted to let you know that using the mobile optimized view the zoom is deliberately disabled. Since the mobile view it already optimized for mobile devices this view in unnecessary

Could you check to see if you have problems when viewing a listing page? You can test the zoom using this listing:

Also, can everyone please check the forums page and tell me if they have difficulties zooming/viewing the page in either standard or mobile view? Here's a link so it's handy. www.etsy.com/forums

If you view a listing page on your mobile browser you can switch to standard or mobile view. Scroll down to the bottom of the age and you'll find the option to choose which format you'd prefer to view.

If you do not see that option then the page you are viewing on Etsy is only available in the standard desktop view.

Same here.

Just checked the source for any etsy page, and I found the culprit, it's all because of this line :

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no" >

That basically tells any browser that etsy can't be zoomed.

I just hope this is an error, and not some way to force us to use the mobile version of the site, or even worse the app. They are nowhere as useful as the desktop version of the site.

I hope they fix it real soon, because it's really, really annoying.

Same problem here as well, on my iPhone 4S. I thought it was me, cleared all Internet history/cookies, rebooted the phone, nothing. Etsy, take out the resizing block please!
