My items don't exist in search or browse - help!

Over the past few days I've been checking my items through browse and search and they just don't come up.
For example I have properly tagged and listed christmas ornaments. I am based in Dublin, Ireland and here is the result of my Browse by location:

www.etsy.com/browse/holidays/holiday-decor/ornaments/?ship_to=US&ma...

The same goes for my toys and some other items.

HOw can anybody find me if my items simply don't exist according to etsy search?
Can anybody help please?

It sounds like there are a few things coming up here, the primary being the feeling of frustration that you're not seeing as many views, favorites, or sales as you expect. We're here to help small, creative business thrive; we want every business on Etsy to succeed.

To gauge the success of your business it is wise to study your shop state year over year. That will provide a better data point -- the sales climate in December is different from any other time of the year. This is the time in December when online retail sales start to slow down as Christmas shoppers become more wary of how long the item may take to ship.

I investigate the specific difficulties brought up and could not identify any technical issues with search or browse pages.

It's true that browse pages are limited in the number of items they'll display. If your item is not on a browse page your items will not surface when that browse page is sorted by your location.

If there are any specific browse pages you're concerned aren't displaying your items or aren't displaying relevant items could you link me to them here and let me know what items you'd like to see on them? We regularly review feedback on browse pages. We want to provide the best shopping experience possible.

If you are feeling frustrated I can sincerely empathize. We have some very helpful and tangible tips for getting found from last year's Seller's Symposium here:

I'd highly recommend the videos, they're great perspective to keep in mind any time of year.

not all items are included in browse. it is just a sampling of what is available here on etsy.

search using the search bar is a different activity. you can't find any of your items using the search bar?
Thank you for your response! But this just does not make any sense. So if a Dubliner (from Ireland) opened Etsy.com and decided to Browse 'Christmas ornaments' - vintage - location 'Dublin, Ireland' - nothing will come up!!
I am speechless!!
Any Admin can help please!!
according to Admin's post here: www.etsy.com/teams/7718/site-help/discuss/10795722/
browse is not a sampling (only the first page of browse is curated), but the rest is based on tags and relevancy.
Anybody?
thanks!
browse does not include everything on etsy. the items to be included are picked my some kind of etsy algorithm and then listed by relevancy.

the first pictures in each header section are picked specifically (curated) by etsy, but the rest of what is included in browse is picked to be included by some mysterious algorithm they are using. then listed by some relevancy formula.

browse's intention is to feature a selection of items available on etsy to give buyers a feeling of what is available here. then buyers can use the search bar to specifically look for what they want.

None of my christmas ornaments are in the EUROPEAN UNION either. heres is what comes up:

www.etsy.com/browse/holidays/holiday-decor/ornaments/?ship_to=US&ma...

I don't think there is a mysterious algorythm.
To me this is a disastrous discovery. Because from a buyer's point of view no shops based in Dublin, Ireland exist on Etsy. This is wrong. Are my items badly photographed? Do I have bad reputation??

I really hope to hear from an Admin. Will keep checking back. Thanks!
okay.
anybody?
you can wait for admin but the answer will be basically what anythinggoeshere stated above.

While I do like the browse feature I, as well as most shoppers, use the search.
This whole thing is on giant mess. Etsy has literally destroyed my business. my views are down by over half from last year at this time. My sales are few and far between. Last year at this time I had 23 sales and 5432 views. 2011 was my first Christmas on Etsy. As of today I have had 2912 views and 6 sales. My entire Christmas season is completely destroyed because of this change. Don't ask etsy for any assistance because you will get the same CANNED speech about tags, titles, etc The same old rhetoric time after time. It's a wast of your time to seek their help...I honestly believe they do not care one bit how his change has impacted many etsy sellers. Sellers who have been their life blood for earning them money. As their CEO was bragging about how many million they did in 2011. Good luck trying to figure out their mysterious ALGORITHM! Sad to say, I will sell off my stock and give this up, because etsy is only interested in the almighty $$$ and do not care who or how it impacts the sellers.
