I have seen that sort of thing before; clicking a button just goes to the top of the page. It's a scripting issue of some kind with your browser, either a cache problem, of maybe some addon or toolbar that is interfering with the page.
I would start by disabling your addons and see if you can list. If it's been OK up to now, maybe you can recall anything that got added recently? Browser cache is less likely, since the site is pretty new to your computer, but worth a shot if you still have trouble. Let us know how it goes. Thanks!
