It's a Twitter issue, and not Etsy. I've had problems with it all day. I can't even tweet from RT's that I received in my e-mails. It seems to come and go, but is definately a Twitter problem.

Thanks for letting us know, Karen! We'll see if we can find out anything, but it does look like Twitter had some issues yesterday which have since been resolved: status.twitter.com/

Ok, I'm coming back to this because I am still having problems. The pop-up window comes up where I need to "authorize app." When I click to authorize app, I get the message saying that I am being redirected back.
The window closes and the Etsy page is still up and nothing has changed. If I click on save changes, I get the red banner at the top that says my changes couldn't be saved.

Let's take a step back and check a few things. Are you using the Twitter account in a related Etsy account? Is it a shop or personal Twitter account? And which page are you on when trying to connect (Public Profile or Info and Appearance)? Last, have you ever been able connect with this shop before?
Twitter and/or Etsy cookies sometimes get confused, as well. So let's try to get a baseline here, determine if it's logistical, then decide what steps to take. Thanks!
