phantom listing

I sold something I only had one of a few days ago, shipped it, then saw it pop up in my activity feed as available.

Odd.

I quickly deactivated the phantom item.

Today I went into my inactive items to reactivate it as I found another one. And it's gone. Checked my expired listings... nothing. Checked the shop - not there either...

So strange. Where did it come from and where did it go?

That is weird. Are you sure you didn't delete it instead of deactivate it? And I've never heard of an item showing up in an activity feed as available. Did someone favorite it? People can favorite sold items, so maybe that's what you saw?

That would make sense, but I am sure that I deactivated it, as I wanted to keep an eye on it rather than delete. Usually when a sold item shows up in my activity feed, it says "sold", not the price. The link was clickable, and the price was still visible. That was when I hit "deactivate".

Hi Hazel,

We can check this out for, no problem. We will need some way to track it down though. If you happen to have the listing number, that would be ideal. Since it sold, you can review your transactions to get that, or the Order number. Thanks!
