etsy search ads and key words

I have been using search ads for a while, and have heard less key words it better, so I removed many of my key words, I am wondering from those who use search ads, how many views you are getting per day through etsy and then on the search ads??

When they say "less is better", it usually means those keywords which don't directly relate to your item- like "purple". So, if someone was searching for a specific purple widget that you don't sell, they'll ignore your ad and your money is wasted.
Overall, "purple necklace" or "purple lariat" works better and your chances of a click are higher.
That being said, I averaged 1 view per 100 impressions.
