Etsy Seller won't leave me feedback..

Hi,

I placed an order and the Etsy seller will not leave me feedback. I think this is the most important part of the sale. I messaged her and she didn't respond. Any advice?

Have you received the order?

We are not obligated to leave feedback immediately after an order or even at all if we choose not to, honestly.

But most sellers don't leave feedback immediately after an order has been replaced. They generally wait until the item has been received first.

Only you can see your feedback. I wouldn't call feedback the most important part of the transaction, I would think receiving the item is the most important part.

As a seller I try my best to leave feedback, but this is a busy season for me so I might not get to it right away. This might be the same for them - give them some time.

Like its stated above - feedback is optional on Etsy and there are a lot of people who just don't bother with it (sellers & buyers).

I wouldn't take it personal.

I mean, I think it's nice because people then see your an active buyer and you won't cause problems. I also think it's nice for the seller to receive feedback too.

Billy, have you left feedback for the seller?

Many sellers wait to get their buyer's feedback first, to make sure they are happy and that the transaction is indeed complete.

Yes, feedback is nice, but I never check my buyers feedback. Since I can't read it anyway, it's not much use to me. I don't care whether my buyers have 1 feedback (or none) or 10,000. So it may not be as important for buyers as you might think.

More people don't leave feedback than do.

It is optional.
