Just wondering if any seller has ever had PayPal on their side, ever? If so, i'd love to hear it.

Yes, I have. I've had two chargebacks from credit card companies. When I showed proof of shipping to the address specified on the PayPal account, both payments were honoured by PayPal regardless of the final decision by the credit card company.

Yes... I won a chargeback... but you have to do everything they require...ship w/ online proof of shipping, DC etc... read the terms of service...

Yes, I have won, as well. My designs are made to order or custom and paypal does not dispute those. I did not know this. The buyer wanted a full refund plus return shipping. I did not have to refund the buyer. Of course, I eventually did, after the item was returned but not the return shipping. Paypal said paying for that is totally up to the seller.

No...they do not always side with the buyer.

3 chargebacks in almost 10 years of online selling. 2/3 were sided in my favor. The third was international without proof of delivery.

I have also had them side with me I think every time. I just recently had a buyer that wanted something I didn't offer. She ordered something else and then wanted me to make what she really wanted. Told her I couldn't do it, cancelled the order and refunded the money through paypal. She waited a week or so and then contacted etsy to refute the cancellation because "she didn't get her refund from them". she thought etsy would also refund her I guess, so a double refund lol.
