How are my photos?

I use a light box and a gray artist board. Do I still need to tweak them? What's your take when you view my shop?

Lori, why are you using a gray background instead of a white background? The gray doesn't look bad, but a white background may look even better. Black may also look better, but I am not sure.

The Custom Bible verse background is a light colored background, not gray.
I'm not sure I like the gray. Because a lot of your jewelry is silver toned, the gray just kind of makes it all blend together. I would try using white because the pieces themselves are lovely. Your focus looks pretty good too. :)
I read on one of the forums that gray background looks nice so that's why I tried it. The custom Bible verse one was done before I made that change. I can certainly try a white background on my next picture to see how it compares.

I tried black it didn't work too well
thank you, I am going to try white on my next picture which I'm planning on doing today. should I redo the photos? It would be time consuming but if you guys think it would stand out better it would certainly be worth it
White background is better
I think the grey background would look better if was the same grey in all of your photos. Sometimes it reads more yellow and other times more blue. It makes me wonder how true the color is for the actual item.

I say this not as an expert in photography.
I think you could improve your photos. I don't think the gray background does anything to enhance your jewellery. I would try white. Also try some different angles. Instead of a side view, how about a front view. Look at some popular jewellery shops for inspiration. Some of the photos look slightly blurred as well. I think you've made a good start. All the best.
Try the white background and if you don't hear back from me within a day after you have posted them please convo me and I will be happy to look at them.

Too dark. They're all basically the same photos. They don't show much detail. I would suggest adjusting your lighting conditions and camera settings, taking different photos which show the items from different angles, using your macro to get up close to show some of the details, etc. Change up your background (not necessarily to white, though).
