Got amazing photos and a fair number of products as well (very few shops, IMO, do well with only a small number or variety of items).

aspirational. I've noticed a lot of shops have a certain 'look' (whether it's arty, vintage, eco, whatever) that corresponds to a kind of 'Vogue does shabby chic' - if that makes any sense at all! I see the 'this item made it to the front page of Etsy' loads on this type of shop. It's what I aspire to anyway!

Most of the time when I see a very successful Etsy shop I notice that they sell supplies.
Either that or they have really awesome/unique items that you don't find every day.
