Original Post

Hi all! So i Just opened a second shop for my photos on Iphone cases (yay!).
Any tips as to how to cross promote between my 2 shops? I favorited all my items from the other shop to this shop so they show up for anyone who views them. I keep this shop's faves private so I probably won't do it on here.

Should I add my new shop's link in this shops listing descriptions? Any sites that I could batch edit to do so?

thanks!

I have 2 shops as well. One for bath & body (my main business) and this shop for organizational printables. I wouldn't add link in one shop's listings to the other shop. It confuses buyers and looks a bit unprofessional. I cross promote by adding items to my favorites from each shop and sometimes I'll add something to a treasury. You have to disclose your other shop in your profile though as part of the Etsy Terms.

My only tip is to use two different browsers, one for each shop. I use Firefox for this shop and Safari for my 2nd shop - saves having to sign in and out all of the time.

I think if you have an iPhone case with a photo that looks great as a full size print then say so! Link to the full size shot and explain why eg. "Love this photograph? You can buy an A4 print in my other shop _______" and vice versa.

Thanks janne!
Is there a reason you use two different browsers?

So you can stay signed into both shops at once!

To add another shop, is the procedure similar to creating the first? I might separate the vintage books in my store from the vintage housewares.
