My blog post today is on some basic history and tracing how postcards developed from a Private Mailing Card and undivided back cards to the divided back cards we have today. Please check it out.

I just ran accross a great site to help with publisher Identification. Unfortunately I didn't find the exact image I was trying to ID but is useful and I wanted to share

This is a great site that matches the date and some publishers with the stamp box on the back of the postcards. They have hundreds of images and it is very easy to use.

Does anyone know anything about this kind of Greeting card? It is the size of a postcard but does not have the postcard markings on the back. Because the man is identified I know this photo/greeting card is from the late 1910s to early 1920s. Please message me if you have information. I will be at work for the next 10 hours and may not remember to check the thread again tonight.
